Job summary

Brookfield is seeking an Associate to join the Brookfield Housing team in New York City to support investment and portfolio management in the housing sector. The focus is on Manufactured Housing and Student Housing with a global asset base across multiple continents.

You will oversee financial and strategic analysis, work with operators and investors, and help drive value through leasing, redevelopment, and capital decisions. A strong Excel and Argus background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, real estate, or related area.
• 2–3 years of experience in real estate asset management or portfolio management.
• Experience with third-party property management platforms is a plus.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Argus.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing and ad-hoc financial analysis to support capital decisions across the portfolio.
• Liaise with management and operating teams to monitor investments and ensure goals are met.
• Create, maintain and improve investment and valuation models.
• Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities to add value.
• Assist in JV governance and reporting to partners.
• Support dispositions and financing activities.
