Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Southpointe is seeking a dependable Houseperson / Lobby Attendant to support our housekeeping team and keep our hotel looking its best. You will clean and maintain public areas, restock supplies, assist with guest requests, and help with light maintenance tasks.

Training is provided. A positive, team-oriented attitude helps you thrive; high school education is preferred and prior hotel experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• No prior hotel experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to stay active and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support housekeeping by collecting soiled linens and restocking supplies.
• Clean and maintain public areas including lobby, restrooms, and hallways.
• Assist guests with requests such as extra towels or pillows.
• Vacuum, dust, polish furniture, and clean floors.
• Remove trash from interior and exterior areas.
• Assist with carpet shampooing and floor care (training provided).
• Put away supplies and keep storage areas organized.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.

Join us at the Newly Renovated Homewood Suites Pittsburgh Southpointe.

Are you someone who likes to stay active, take pride in a clean environment, and support a great team? We’re looking for a dependable Houseperson / Lobby Attendant to help keep our hotel looking its best and to support our housekeeping team and guests.

What You’ll Do --

• Support the housekeeping team by collecting soiled linens and restocking supplies
• Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, restrooms, lobby spaces, and back-of-house areas
• Assist with guest requests such as delivering extra towels, pillows, cribs, or other items
• Vacuum, dust, polish furniture, and clean floors and common areas
• Remove trash and debris from interior and exterior areas, including garage and driveway spaces
• Assist with carpet shampooing and floor care (training provided)
• Put away incoming supplies and keep storage areas organized
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable and able to follow hotel safety and cleanliness standards
• Willingness to stay active and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Prior hotel or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required — we’ll train the right person!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
• Frequent bending, standing, walking, and reaching
• Ability to perform cleaning and light maintenance tasks safely
