Job summary

Thompson Dallas, a Hyatt luxury hotel, is seeking a Houseperson to support the Housekeeping team, ensuring guestrooms and public areas meet brand standards. You will help Room Attendants with supplies, linen, and setup, contributing to a clean, welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Room Attendants by delivering supplies, linens, amenities, and equipment throughout the shift.
• Remove soiled linens, trash, and recyclables from guest floors and housekeeping carts.
• Restock housekeeping carts, linen closets, and storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, service areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Clean and maintain assigned public areas, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and guest-facing spaces.
• Assist with special projects, deep cleaning assignments, mattress moves, and room setup needs as assigned.
• Deliver guest-requested items promptly and professionally.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and cleanliness issues to the appropriate departments.
• Support housekeeping operations to ensure guestrooms are guest-ready and meet brand standards.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operation and guest experience.

Position Summary

The Houseperson plays an important role in supporting the Housekeeping team and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to transport linens, supplies, and equipment; push housekeeping carts and linen carts; and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
