Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, full-time Houseperson to join our Cypress Inn team. The role focuses on maintaining public areas, assisting with room cleanliness, and ensuring a positive guest experience in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Candidates should have a High School education and at least one year of housekeeping experience, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. SHG offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a supportive team culture.

Responsabilités

• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas to quality standards.
• Strip guest rooms of linen and trash when necessary.
• Clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash.
• Remove spots, insects and debris and polish fixtures.
• Deliver items to rooms on request and assist with cleaning as needed.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards.
• When necessary, strip guest rooms of linen and trash
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
• Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash
• Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Team player
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests
• Knowledge of cleanliness standards
