Job summary

InnVentures LLC is seeking a House Person for Residence Inn Downtown Seattle Lake Union to help make guests feel at home. You will clean public areas, assist guests, and support housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a productive, welcoming environment.

The position requires flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, with opportunities to participate in a comprehensive benefits package and company programs.

Qualifications

• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift; capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean public bathrooms, meeting rooms and other common areas; remove trash and vacuum, mop as needed.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile.
• Receive and store deliveries; maintain organized storage areas.
• Accommodate guest and employee requests quickly and professionally.
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms, laundry, and kitchen duties as requested.
• Support maintenance by reporting broken items; promote teamwork across departments.

Responsibilities

- Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.

- Receive and put away deliveries while maintaining organization and cleanliness of storage areas.

- Accommodate special requests by guests and other employees quickly and professionally.

- Assist with cleaning guest rooms, laundry, and kitchen duties as requested.

- Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.

- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

• - 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

For Employees Based in California:

• - 8 paid holidays per year
• - Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
• - Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
