The Monarch San Antonio, Curio Collection by Hilton, is a 200-room boutique hotel located in the Hemisfair District of downtown San Antonio. The Houseperson role supports the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, organized, and well stocked to deliver a seamless, luxurious guest experience.

This position assists Room Attendants and maintains high cleanliness standards while upholding professional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Room Attendants with cleaning, stocking, and preparing guest rooms to luxury standards.
• Replenish guest room amenities, towels, and linen items as directed.
• Collect and transport soiled linens, trash, and recyclables to designated service areas.
• Ensure housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain public areas, corridors, elevators, and service spaces.
• Support turndown service and special guest requests as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, guest requests, and lost-and-found items promptly and accurately.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and hotel standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and discreet demeanor with guests and team members at all times.
• Support housekeeping operations during peak periods and special events as required.

Position Overview

The Houseperson supports the housekeeping department by ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, organized, and well stocked. This role is essential to deliveringa seamlessand luxurious guest experience byassistingRoom Attendants andmaintaininghigh standardsof cleanliness, efficiency, and professionalism throughout the property.

WhatYou’llDo

Housekeeping Support & Operations

Required Education

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness andhigh standards.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
• Basic English communication skills;additionallanguage skills preferred.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
