Job summary

Atrium Hospitality in Norfolk, VA is seeking a dedicated janitor to help keep public areas clean and guest-ready. You will assist with room prep and support the housekeeping team during peak times.

The role is full-time, with a pay range of $15.00–$15.75 per hour and benefits such as health coverage, 401(k) match, PTO, and employee discounts. Internal growth opportunities are available as well.

Qualifications

• Janitorial or hotel cleaning experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Keen eye for detail and a clean, inviting lobby.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep public areas sparkling clean - lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and beyond (guests will definitely notice!).
• Handle heavy-duty cleaning projects like carpet care, floor polishing, and dusting those hard-to-reach spots.
• Stock and organize cleaning carts and supply closets so the team is always ready to shine.
• Help Room Attendants by restocking linens, clearing trash, and prepping rooms for guests.
• Respond quickly and cheerfully to guest requests and safety concerns.
