Job summary

True North Hotel Group Inc. is seeking a Houseperson for the Holiday Inn Express in Hays, TPS. You will support housekeeping by assisting with heavy-duty tasks, ensuring public areas and corridors stay clean, and helping with linens as needed.

The role emphasizes physical stamina, team collaboration, and adherence to health and safety standards. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, with certifications such as TIPS and ServSafe valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping.
• Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for an extended period of time.
• Required certifications and training for TIPS, ServSafe, health department and other required organizations according to local codes.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus.
