Job summary

Carson Hot Springs Resort in Carson, WA is hiring a Houseperson to join the housekeeping team. You will help maintain common areas, assist with rooms, and support a friendly guest experience.

No prior hotel experience required; we train the right person. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and communicate in English. Competitive hourly wage with benefits and room for growth.

We're hiring a houseperson to join the public-facing side of our housekeeping team, cleaning and maintaining common areas as well as performing heavier tasks on the rooms side. Previous hotel and/or cleaning experience is helpful but not required -- as long as you're the right person, we'll teach you everything you need to know to exceed standards for work quality and guest happiness. To be successful, you will be a reliable, enthusiastic multitasker who can work independently as well as get along with your team and help out where needed. You will demonstrate and promote 100% dedication to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees through excellent guest service and outperforming cleanliness standards. • Making sure linens and supplies are stocked and getting them to housekeepers
• Assist housekeepers with linens and trash
• Flip mattresses and move furniture
• Vacuum & clean public areas of the property
• Floor care
• Other job duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous hotel or heavy cleaning experience preferred but not required; we'll teach you what you need to know.
• Able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Speak, read, write, and understand English.
