Job summary

StoneBridge in Maryland Heights is seeking a Hotel Houseman to support housekeeping operations, maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, and assist with linen and supply duties.

Responsibilities include assisting room attendants, restocking towels and toiletries, and maintaining inventory across back-of-house spaces. This role requires diligence, reliability, and a strong attention to cleanliness standards.

• Restocking guest room supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens; maintaining inventory levels in common areas.
• Assisting room attendants with moving furniture, changing bed linens, delivering supplies and assisting with laundry tasks.

Key duties and responsibilities of a hotel houseman:

• Cleaning:
  • Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, etc.), and back-of-house areas like the laundry room and employee break areas. Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in these areas. Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and replenishing toiletries. Emptying trash and recycling bins. Assisting with deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Restocking:
  • Replenishing guest room supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens. Restocking common area supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
• Assisting with Housekeeping:
  • Assisting room attendants with tasks like moving furniture, removing dirty linens, and delivering supplies. Changing bed linens and making beds. Assisting with laundry duties (collecting, sorting, and delivering).
