Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a Housekeeping Team Lead for the 3rd shift at the Main Campus. You will supervise daily cleaning duties, ensure safe and timely service, and resolve issues with staff and vendors.

Reporting to the supervisor, you will lead housekeeping activities in patient areas, restrooms, offices, and common spaces, with a focus on quality and safety. GED/HS diploma preferred; 3+ years' experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily housekeeping services for assigned areas (restrooms, offices, lobbies, etc.).
• Ensure safe and timely completion with proper cleaning techniques (vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting).
• Coordinate with supervisor, staff, and vendors on weekends and holidays as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; report issues and implement solutions.

In addition, the Team Lead supports the supervisor as well as department management in overseeing daily housekeeping services requirements provided by staff within assigned areas are successfully completed in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. On weekends, they serve as a point of contact between customers, staff, and vendors; troubleshoot service issues as necessary and implement solutions.
