MorningStar Senior Living in Sparks, NV is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for a full-time role. The position pays $19.00–$23.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule (approx. 6:00 A.M.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish schedule and plan day-to-day housekeeping functions for the team.
• Follow and train on safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment.
• Establish the schedule and plan daily work assignments.
• Train employees in laundry, housekeeping and light maintenance.
• Inspect team members’ work performance.
• Demonstrate leadership and train team members.
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents and family members.
• Develop and train staff on policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

Job Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred
• Experience: Three years’ experience in the senior living industry preferred as well as prior management experience
• Job Knowledge: Ability to read, write, and speak English; properly use supplies and maintain equipment; knowledge of proper handling and mixture of cleaning compounds
• Other: Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as MSDS. Must have good communication skills and be able to effectively communicate in English and understand and follow written and oral direction.
