Job summary

MakeReady is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for The Merchant Building in Columbus, OH. This full-time role oversees housekeeping tasks, assigns team duties, and ensures guest rooms meet cleanliness standards.

You will train room attendants, inspect carts and closets, coordinate with Front Office, and support leadership with administrative duties. A guest-first mentality and prior supervisory experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping or hotel housekeeping operations.
• Guest-first mentality and guest satisfaction focus.
• Ability to efficiently clean multiple rooms and property areas.

Responsibilities

• Assign housekeeping tasks to team and inspect the work to ensure standards of cleanliness are met.
• Support Housekeeping Leadership by completing administrative tasks as requested. Creating assignments for Team Members
• Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Work with and train room attendants to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and accurately.
• Inspect housekeeping carts and closets to ensure that they are properly stocked
• Ensure cleanliness of all trash chute rooms by delegating daily assigned work to house porter
• Communicate with the Front Office staff of any housekeeping delays or issues and make necessary changes to room status
