Marriott Riverside at the Convention Center in Riverside, CA, is seeking a hands-on Operations Associate to coordinate staff schedules, inspect rooms and supervise new hires. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to work varying shifts to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The position is full-time with pay ranging from $21 to $23 per hour, reflecting a dynamic hotel environment in downtown Riverside.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates high work ethic and self-initiative.
• May be required to work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Enjoys working as part of a team to provide great guest experiences.
• Physically able to perform in-office role with long periods at a desk.
• Able to operate in a standard office environment with computer work.
• Prolonged sitting; occasional standing and walking.
• Fine motor skills for keyboarding, mouse use and writing.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry 10–25 pounds as needed.
• Good visual focus and color differentiation; capable of hearing in meetings.

Responsabilités

• Prepare schedules for the staff and complete the work distribution report, ensuring all sections are covered.
• Thoroughly inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure they are cleaned according to company standards.
• Train and supervise all new associates and provide on-going training for current staff.
• Check for early make-ups, special requests and VIPs.
• Maintain proper written records for lost and found.
• Run a departure report and recheck all rooms showing up in your assigned section.
• Write up work orders for all repairs and immediately report any broken door locks or safety hazards to management for immediate attention.
