The DoubleTree by Hilton Abilene Downtown Convention Center is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. You will lead daily housekeeping operations, supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons, and ensure rooms and public areas meet our cleanliness and quality standards in a dynamic hotel environment.

In this role you will coordinate schedules, assist with training, partner with Engineering on maintenance issues, respond to guest needs promptly, and uphold Hilton's service values.

Qualifications

• Supervise the housekeeping team, train staff, and ensure cleanliness and quality in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assign, inspect, and verify room readiness; report discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor schedules, payroll, inventory, and lost-and-found to support operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to address maintenance needs.
• Support operations by performing attendant duties as needed and meeting guest requests.

Responsibilities

Conveniently appointed in direct proximity to the convention center in downtown Abilene, this property is sure to be the talk of the town! Boasting 200 guest rooms, 23,000 square feet of banquet space and 3 unique food and beverage outlets - 2 restaurants, a marketplace and in-room dining!

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’re not just supervising daily housekeeping operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping team: Lead, train, oversee, and evaluate Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure cleanliness and quality standards in guest rooms and public areas
• Oversee room readiness: Assign, inspect, and verify room status, promptly reporting any discrepancies
• Oversee operational logistics: Monitor work schedules, payroll reports, stock room and cart inventory, and the lost and found program
• Coordinate maintenance needs: Partner with Engineering and Property Operations to address repair and maintenance issues
• Support housekeeping operations: Perform Room Attendant and Houseperson responsibilities as needed to maintain service levels
• Delight our guests: Address special guest needs in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
