Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor for Angad Arts Hotel in St. Louis, MO. You will lead housekeeping teams, ensure cleanliness across suites and public areas, and coordinate with maintenance to uphold high service standards.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and a commitment to a positive guest experience in a fast-paced hotel environment. Night/ weekend shifts may be required, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Inspect suites and public areas for cleanliness and readiness.

• Perform housekeeping duties as needed to maintain high standards.
• Update room status and discrepancies throughout shifts.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required and coordinate with maintenance.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag , gloves and goggles.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required .
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position
• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
