Job summary

Caravan Facilities Management LLC in Sterling Heights, MI, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee cleaning and maintenance operations for commercial facilities. You will interview, hire, train staff, plan schedules, and direct daily work to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
• Instruct staff in work policies and procedures and the use and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Select the most suitable cleaning materials for different types of linens, furniture, flooring, and surfaces.

Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial, industrial buildings by performing the following duties. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
