Job summary

Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, schedule daily duties, and ensure a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff at Oak Crest in Parkville, MD.

Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annually with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement plan, PTO, onsite health services and growth opportunities as new communities expand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily assignments and schedules for housekeeping staff.
• Inspect premises to plan next assignments and ensure sanitation standards.
• Train new employees and supervise until fully trained.
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, materials and equipment.
• Create weekly, monthly and semi-monthly cleaning schedules for common areas.
• Investigate and resolve housekeeping related complaints.

Join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor to provide leadership, direction, and support to the Housekeeping team members, in order to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for our residents and staff.

Compensation: commensurate for experience between $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

How you will make an impact

• Prepare daily assignments and schedules to include established routine duties for housekeeping staff
• Inspect premises to determine next assignments and to ensure that trash/garbage removal meets with health, safety and sanitation regulations including receiving dock areas and community grounds
• Train new employees, assigns tasks and closely supervises until fully trained.
• Maintain an inventory of housekeeping supplies, materials and equipment
• Create weekly, monthly and semi-monthly cleaning schedules for common areas of the facility
• Investigate and resolve housekeeping related complaints

What you will need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations
• Previous experience in a leadership role preferred
