Job summary

Noelle is seeking a housekeeping leader to train and coach the team on room and common area cleanliness, ensuring daily performance meets high operational standards and guest needs are satisfied. The role involves inspecting rooms, overseeing assignments, and maintaining entryway and public space standards.

The successful candidate will guide the team with attention to detail, uphold Our Guiding Principles, and collaborate with Front Office to minimize delays and maximize guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in housekeeping or hospitality environments.
• Strong attention to detail and guest-focused service.
• Ability to manage multiple rooms and areas efficiently.
• Wamiliar with standard housekeeping procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assign housekeeping tasks to team and inspect work to meet standards.
• Support leadership by completing admin tasks and creating team assignments.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Train room attendants to complete daily tasks timely and accurately.
• Inspect carts and closets to ensure proper stocking.
• Delegate daily tasks to porters for trash chute areas.
• Communicate delays or issues with Front Office and adjust room statuses.

Job description

This leader is proud of the work performed by the housekeeping team and is not afraid to take out the white glove for verification. This person has high expectations and will not sign off on a room unless it sparkles. Their primary role is train and coach their team on checking rooms and common areas by taking pride on a daily basis to meet the operational standards and ensure that the team and guests needs are met.

Requested Tasks

• Assign housekeeping tasks to team and inspect the work to ensure standards of cleanliness are met
• Support Housekeeping Leadership by completing administrative tasks as requested. Creating assignments for Team Members
• Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Work with and train room attendants to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and accurately
• Inspect housekeeping carts and closets to ensure that they are properly stocked
• Ensure cleanliness of all trash chute rooms by delegating daily assigned work to house porter
• Communicate with the Front Office staff of any housekeeping delays or issues and make necessary changes to room status.
