Avid hotel by IHG is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team of housekeeping professionals, focusing on training and quality control to ensure consistently high standards across guest areas. You will manage workflow and labor resources, oversee scheduling and staffing, handle hiring and training, and perform light cleaning as needed to maintain spotless environments.

This role requires strong organizational skills and hands-on supervision to motivate staff and deliver guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar position is preferred.
• Experience providing cleaning/maintenance services for organizations is preferred.
• Comfortable using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Excellent management and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency with the ability to create schedules.
• Stamina to handle physical demands; capable of light lifting and standing long periods.

Responsibilities

• Create and update housekeeping schedules daily.
• Hire and train all housekeeping staff.
• Ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Assist in cleaning per company standards.
• Assist with deep cleaning as needed.
• Organize and maintain stock of supplies and laundry.
• Report maintenance issues to maintenance or management.

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for motivating a team of housekeeping professionals and creating an environment for them to perform at their best. Focusing on training and quality control is critical. Managing workflow and labor resources is a daily challenge. Hiring, staff training, and making schedules are primary duties.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and updating housekeeping schedules daily
• Hiring and training all housekeeping staff
• Ensuring company cleaning standards are consistently met
• Assisting as needed in cleaning according to company standards
• Assisting with deep cleanings, as necessary
• Organizing and maintaining the stock of supplies and laundry
• Reporting maintenance issues to the maintenance department and/or management
