Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Altavista, VA is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain clean resident rooms and common areas in a skilled nursing facility. You will also assist with laundry and help preserve a welcoming, safe environment for residents under supervision.

Full-time role with first shift; starting wage of $15.00 per hour. The position offers a supportive team, opportunities for growth and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• GED guidance available to help you earn your GED.
• Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and other interior/exterior community areas following health, sanitary and infection control policies.
• Provide efficient laundry delivery services.
• Maintain a positive physical environment for residents under supervisor direction.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to clean resident rooms and other interior/exterior community areas, provide efficient laundry delivery services, and assist in maintaining a positive physical environment for the residents under the direction of the supervisor. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration and Housekeeping Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications
