Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist for the Main Campus Environmental Services team. The role ensures a clean and sanitary environment by maintaining floor surfaces and performing housekeeping duties.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of housekeeping experience, GED/HS preferred, and experience operating an Auto Scrubber. The shift is 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, every 3rd weekend and two rotating holidays per year.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years housekeeping experience required.
• GED/High School preferred.
• Experience with Auto Scrubber required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary environments by keeping floor surfaces in good condition.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned to support hospital mission.
• Operate Auto Scrubber and other cleaning equipment.
• Work 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, with every 3rd weekend and two rotating holidays per year.

The Housekeeping Specialist provides and maintains a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces are maintained in a manner that supports Dayton Children's vision, mission and values. The Specialist also performs other housekeeping duties as assigned.
