A prominent arts organization in Saint Paul is seeking a Housekeeping Shift Supervisor to maintain high standards of cleanliness and oversee housekeeping staff. The role includes coordinating operations and providing support for events. The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented Housekeeping Shift Supervisor to support our facilities team and help ensure every space is performance‑ready, safe, and welcoming for artists, audiences, and staff. This is a working role that oversees the cleanliness and upkeep of our world‑class venue, provides work direction and support to housekeeping staff, and takes pride in maintaining an exceptional environment for artists, audiences, and employees alike.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, along with a proven track record of leading and motivating a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment is a plus. This role is a 40‑hour per week position who will initially work primarily nights and weekends.
