Job summary

Quality Inn & Suites is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to maintain spotless guest rooms and uphold the hotel’s high cleanliness standards. You will greet guests warmly, stock supplies, and ensure rooms are cleaned to specification. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow directions throughout the shift.

Ideal candidates will be 18+, capable of working independently or in a team, and comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds. Hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check housekeeping cart for supplies and stock as needed

• Strip dirty linens and remove amenities from room/suite
• Clean rooms/suites including beds, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and windows/tracks; report rooms as clean and available
• Report maintenance deficiencies to maintain room standards
• Replenish linen and guest amenities
• Clean balconies, if applicable
• Respond to special requests by guests (extra amenities or service)
• Follow verbal directions and adhere to cleaning procedures and supplies

Job description

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant at Quality Inn & Suites, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our guest rooms, ensuring that they are always ready for occupancy. You will be expected to work efficiently and effectively, paying close attention to detail and adhering to our high standards of cleanliness. Your work will directly impact the satisfaction of our guests, making your role an essential part of our team.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Check housekeeping cart for supplies, stock as needed.

• Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement.

• Strip dirty linens/towels and remove amenities from room/suite.

• Clean rooms/suites, as assigned, which includes: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and washing windows/tracks. Report rooms as clean and available.

• Reports maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with hotel standards.

• Replenish linen and guest amenities.

• Clean balconies, if applicable.

• Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service).

• Requires ability to follow verbal directions.

• Requires thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures as well as cleaning supplies.

• Always represent the hotel in a positive manner; SMILE.

Physical Requirements:

This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and lift 20-30 lbs. intermittently during the workday.
