Fairfield Inn & Suites, Albuquerque, NM, is hiring for housekeeping as Room Attendant. You will help maintain clean, welcoming guest rooms and report any maintenance issues to keep standards high.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will greet guests, stock supplies, strip linens, clean bathrooms, make beds, and respond to guest requests. Must be 18+, able to pass a background check, and willing to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background screening

Responsibilities

• Check housekeeping cart for supplies, stock as needed.
• Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement.
• Strip dirty linens/towels and remove amenities from room/suite.
• Clean rooms/suites, which includes: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and washing windows/tracks.
• Reports maintenance deficiencies to maintain room in compliance with hotel standards.
• Clean balconies, if applicable.
• Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service).
• Requires ability to follow verbal directions.
• Requires thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies.
• Always represent the hotel in a positive manner; SMILE.

The Room Attendant will ensure that the highest standards for cleanliness and sanitation are maintained within each of their assigned guest rooms. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Executive Housekeeper, is responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned rooms/suites. They will also report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain rooms/suites in compliance with OSHA and other required standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and lift 20-30 lbs. intermittently during the workday.
