Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a part-time Housekeeper at our Harford Inpatient Program in Joppa, MD. The role involves maintaining cleanliness of public and staff areas, restrooms, and patient rooms to support a safe, healthy environment.

We offer the chance to grow within a behavioral health setting, with a shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and additional opportunities for advancement. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and a background in janitorial work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic janitorial/maintenance background is desired for candidates seeking the dual role of Housekeeper/Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean facility by performing daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning of all public and staff restrooms, as well as all public areas (front office, conference room, front halls, and all hallways).
• Clean all rooms and bathrooms daily, including the hall, nurses’ station, and exam room.
• Clean all personal offices weekly.
• Empty trash daily from all areas.
• Clean laundry rooms and dryer filters bi-weekly.
• Fill all paper towel, soap, and toilet paper dispensers as needed.
• Clean baseboards, radiators, and windows seasonally.
• Wet mop all floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

Located in Joppa, Maryland, our Harford Inpatient program provides treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, including methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co-occurring disorders, and features a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, and more, defined by supportive environments that provide patients with the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges.
