Job summary

Tanner Health seeks an Environmental Services worker to perform daily cleaning and supply duties across patient rooms, lounges, and common areas. You will assist patients and guests to ensure high customer satisfaction and collaborate with other departments to complete tasks efficiently.

Tasks include following procedure standards and, under supervision, possibly establishing new procedures. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered for external hires.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to follow directives; grammar school or above.
• After brief training, demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies, and tools assigned.
• One week to three months on-the-job training.
• Previous experience in a medical facility is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Assist patients, family members, and guests to assure customer satisfaction.
• Work as a team with Environmental Services and other departments to complete assignments and assist as necessary; may establish procedures under supervision.

Assists patients, family members, and guests in the facility any way within our means to assure customer satisfaction. Work as a team with our department and other departments to complete assignments and assist as necessary. May be asked to establish procedures under general supervision.
