Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to manage daily operations of the department responsible for cleaning and housekeeping, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and high standards of cleanliness.

The role includes developing staff through hiring, training, performance management, and coaching; creating and maintaining SOPs; addressing complaints; and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to sustain a safe, healthy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five years of housekeeping experience.
• Three years of supervisory duties.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of the department responsible for providing environmental services.
• Ensures alignment of operations with organizational objectives.
• Establishes and maintains high expectations for cleanliness.
• Develops housekeeping staff through hiring, training, performance management, employee relations, and coaching.
• Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning of the building.
• Investigates and addresses escalated complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
• Maintains relationships with external vendors and internal departments.
