Job Description - Housekeeping Manager - Hilton New York Times Square (HOT0BKBL)

Located at the heart of Times Square, this upscale hotel soars 44 stories above Manhattan, offers 478 rooms, and features newly renovated food and beverage outlets with breathtaking views of Times Square.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience, knowledge of New York Union Local 6, cleaning procedures, and chemical management.

This position will be one of two Housekeeping Managers reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, overseeing 70+ team members.

Shift Pattern: Full availability needed including nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary Range: $68,000 - $78,000 / annually

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily housekeeping operations, maintaining cleanliness, service, and quality standards for guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and banquet/meeting rooms.
  • Ensure timely and efficient room availability for guests.
  • Oversee systems use, cost controls, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, policy enforcement, and meetings.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
  • Conduct room inspections.
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members.
