Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining financial success. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of a Hotel Property Management System are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of a Hotel Property Management System required.

Housekeeping Manager – OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park

Open position supporting the Director of Housekeeping in overseeing Housekeeping & Laundry operations, ensuring highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, train, coach and discipline direct reports and conduct performance appraisals.
• Create schedules, approve employee time off and shift changes.
• Assign and support staff in carrying out the basic operation of their roles to maximize efficiency and performance.
• Coach, develop and provide feedback to staff for continued growth.
• Review work procedures and operational opportunities to improve processes, performance, and service; establish new standards when necessary.
• Maintain financial success of the housekeeping operation, including payroll, expenses, operating equipment, and supplies.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, tasks and communications within the Housekeeping department.
• Use PMS software to distribute daily workloads, manage inventories and costs for guestroom supplies, linens, and cleaning equipment.
• Perform resort walk‑throughs to ensure cleanliness standards are met and safety is maintained.
• Participate in selection and training of the housekeeping team.

Qualifications

• Supervising experience required.
• Experience in the hospitality industry required, preferably in a housekeeping department.
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote desirable.
• Knowledge of a Hotel Property Management System required; Infor experience desirable.
