Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel is seeking a passionate, detail-driven Manager of Housekeeping to lead daily operations across our guest rooms and public spaces. You will drive staffing decisions, mentor team members, and partner with departments to ensure flawless service and high standards.

You will oversee training, scheduling, and cost control while upholding Loews’ commitment to exceptional guest experiences. The role emphasizes proactive leadership and operational excellence in a busy hospitality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum of two years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and minimum of two years housekeeping or guest service leadership experience required.
  • Previous experience with Opera Property Management System preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes to attain maximum efficiency.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 25lbs.

  • Oversee uniform and laundry services, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Hold regular team meetings to share updates, celebrate wins, and address challenges.
  • Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs

Your Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required
  • Minimum of two (2) years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and minimum of two (2) years housekeeping or guest service leadership experience required
  • Previous experience with Opera Property Management System preferred
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time required
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 25lbs
