Journey in Morgantown, WV is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Supervisor to lead housekeeping and laundry teams in a skilled nursing setting. You will oversee cleaning systems, inspections, supply management, and budgeting to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

The role requires at least three years of supervisory experience in environmental services within a healthcare facility, plus knowledge of infection control, regulatory requirements, and strong math skills to compute rates

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility within environmental services.
• Familiarity with infection control techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies, policies, codes, standards, and regulations relevant to environmental services.

Responsabilités

• Team Leadership and Development: Hire, train, evaluate, and manage housekeeping and laundry staff with guidance to maximize effectiveness.
• Operational Oversight: Develop cleaning systems, conduct inspections, manage supply procurement, equipment maintenance, and budgeting.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with health regulations; participate in quality improvement programs and facility committees.
