Responsibilities

• Supervises all Housekeeping Aides and Laundry Aides
• Develop and assure adherence to a cleaning schedule that addresses all areas of the facility
• Assure cleaning products, equipment and procedures are in compliance with all applicable regulations
• Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets on all cleaning products
• Complies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemical substances
• Develop and oversee staffing and supply budgets
• Prepare and submit reports as requested
• Assure housekeeping staff participation in relevant in-service training sessions
• Attend and participate in facility meetings, including those relating to Infection Control/Safety/Quality Improvement, as assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum or two (2) years housekeeping experience in an institutional environment
