Job summary

Trailpoint Village, operated by American Senior Communities, is seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor. The role focuses on planning, directing and supervising housekeeping and laundry staff to provide a safe, sanitary, and homelike environment for residents, staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will lead with C.A.R.E. values, bring at least one year of institutional housekeeping experience, and may have supervisory experience. Strong teamwork and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor Opportunity at Trailpoint Village

The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in providing the residents, staff and public with a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment by planning, organizing, and directing the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Skills Needed:

• Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate others to follow proper safety and environmental regulations. Monitors, teaches, mentors and supervises housekeeping and laundry aides on a daily basis.
• Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.
• Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength and endurance to provide cleaning and laundry services.
• Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.

Requirements:

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
• One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
