Job summary

Florence Home is seeking a Lead Housekeeping/Laundry to provide comprehensive housekeeping and laundry services across the Care Community. You will train and oversee team members, adjust assignments to meet daily priorities, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met for residents, families, staff, and visitors.

The role requires prior housekeeping or laundry experience, supervisory ability, and strong customer service skills to build rapport with the team and residents.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial experience is required.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong focus on customer service and the ability to establish rapport with residents and families.
• Ability to organize own work and lead a team to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assigned areas.
• Oversee and train housekeeping/laundry staff; ensure safe chemical and equipment usage.
• Adjust assignments to meet Care Community priorities; approve time in payroll system.
• Inspect daily work to ensure quality and cleanliness for residents, families, staff, and visitors.
