Job summary

NHC Place at The Trace in Springfield, TN is hiring for a full-time housekeeping/laundry role. Pay ranges from $10.00 to $12.00 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based wage increases and a flexible schedule.

The position trains you to become proficient in cleaning rooms, laundry operations, and following established schedules, while providing a supportive environment focused on teamwork and community well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read Standard English.
• Must operate standard and commercial laundry machinery and work with cleaning chemicals.
• Must be able to understand and follow instructions.
• Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitors.
• The qualified applicant must be on feet 7–8 hours a day and able to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture and equipment.
• Follow established cleaning schedules.
• Load washers.
• Gather dirty laundry and fold/store laundry.
• Operate washing machines and dryers according to policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
