Job summary

Osage Beach Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center in Osage Beach, MO, is hiring a Full Time or Part Time Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our warm, welcoming team. You will enjoy working in a caring environment that values teamwork and community involvement.

You will be on your feet 7–8 hours a day, lift heavy objects, and perform duties including cleaning patient rooms and bathrooms, handling laundry, and following established cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand Standard English.
• Able to stand for 7–8 hours and lift heavy objects.
• Flexible team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning patient bathrooms and rooms, corridors, walls and furniture.
• Emptying garbage cans and following schedules.
• Loading washers, gathering dirty laundry and folding/storing laundry.
• Operating washing machines & dryers per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Duties

This person must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitors. The qualified applicant for this position must be able to be on feet 7-8 hours a day, lift heavy objects and work with standard cleaning chemicals. Duties include:

• cleaning patient bathrooms
• emptying garbage cans
• cleaning patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture and equipment
• following established cleaning schedules
• loading washers
• gathering dirty laundry
• folding/ storing laundry
• operating washing machines & dryers according to manufacturer's and center's policy
• other duties as assigned
