Job summary

NHC HealthCare Oakwood is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to support our residents and teams in Lewisburg, TN. The role requires standing most of the day, ability to lift objects, and careful handling of cleaning chemicals in line with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand 7–8 hours daily and lift heavy objects.

• Reliable and punctual, able to follow center policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient bathrooms including sinks, toilets, tubs and showers.
• Empty garbage cans in patient rooms, patient bathrooms, activity areas and other areas throughout the center.
• Clean patient rooms, including mopping and/or buffing floors, dusting furniture on top and underneath.
• Clean hallways, sweep up debris, mop, strip and buff following center policies and procedures.

Position: Housekeeping Assistant

NHC HealthCare Oakwood is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team who is able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitors. The qualified applicant for this position must be able to be on feet 7-8 hours a day, lift heavy objects and work with standard cleaning chemicals.

Housekeeping Position Highlights

• Clean patient bathrooms including sinks, toilets, tubs and showers
