Job summary

NHC HealthCare Kennett in Kennett, MO is hiring a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to keep patient areas clean and comfortable. You will clean patient rooms and bathrooms, handle laundry and linens, and follow established cleaning schedules while collaborating with a supportive team.

Day and Evening shifts available, full-time or part-time. Prior housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred but not required, and on-the-job training is provided in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping/Laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Duties align with posted responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning patient bathrooms.
• Emptying garbage cans.
• Cleaning patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture, and equipment.
• Following established cleaning schedules.
• Loading washers.
• Gathering dirty laundry.
• Folding/storing laundry.
• Operating washing machines & dryers according to manufacturer's and center's policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
