Job summary

Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking dedicated Housekeeping and Laundry Aides to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. You will handle cleaning tasks across the facility and assist with laundry operations, contributing to patient comfort and facility hygiene.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, hallways, lounges, lobbies, restrooms and other areas per health and safety standards.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Safely store cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Support laundry operations: wash, dry, fold and distribute linens and clothing.
• Help create a warm, sanitary, and comfortable space for residents and staff.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping and Laundry Aides to join our team of compassionate caregivers. If you take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility including resident rooms, hallways, lounges, lobbies, restrooms, and other work areas in accordance with health and safety standards
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming as assigned
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and properly
• Support laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing
• Help create a warm, sanitary, and comfortable space for our residents and staff
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate
