Job summary

Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our dedicated team in Danville, PA. The role supports resident rooms and linen services, with a focus on cleanliness, sanitation, and comfort.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently; shifts are 6AM-3PM with every other weekend, and benefits include a supportive work environment and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry is preferred.
• Ability to bend, twist, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning, including dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting, wiping and scrubbing beds, walls, furniture and fixtures; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Replenishes soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other supplies as needed.
• Delivers clean linens and clothing to wings.
• Folds linen and residents' clothing.

Housekeeping Aide/Laundry Aide Responsibilities

• Performs resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning including dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting, wiping, and scrubbing beds, walls, furniture, and fixtures. Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work independently
• Replenishes soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other supplies as needed
• Follows daily project assignments.
• Processing used linens/residents clothing.
• Delivering clean linens/residents clothing to wings
• Folding linen/residents clothing
