Job summary

Mill Pond is seeking Full Time Housekeeping Services Assistants to join its team in Ankeny, IA. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home for residents across independent living, assisted living, memory care, and long-term care settings.

Shifts are 6:00am-2:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm, with every other weekend required. Wage ranges from $15.55 to $18.23 per hour, plus BOE. PHS offers comprehensive benefits for full- and part-time staff and a supportive, community-based work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Must possess the ability to take direction, prioritize duties, and organize work with others.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning, floor care, washing, sanitizing, polishing furniture/fixtures, waste removal, stocking supplies.
• Ensure housekeeping supplies are replenished; clean and store equipment at end of shift.
• Assist with laundry tasks and distribute linens per schedule.
