Job summary

Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mechanicsville, PA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to maintain resident rooms and ensure a clean, welcoming environment. This role involves cleaning duties, linen processing, and assistance with daily tasks, with shifts around 6AM-3PM and weekend rotation as needed.

Ideal candidates are able to lift up to 50 lbs, work independently, and contribute to a friendly, supportive team dedicated to resident well-being and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and follow daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning including dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting, wiping, and scrubbing beds, walls, furniture, and fixtures.
• Replenishes soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other supplies as needed.
• Follows daily project assignments.
• Processing used linens/residents clothing.
• Delivering clean linens/residents clothing to wings.
• Folding linen/residents clothing.
