Job summary

River Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff in Del Norte, CO. Full-Time and Part-Time shifts are available, with competitive pay and benefits.

You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, launder resident linens, follow infection control procedures, restock supplies, and collaborate with nursing for a home-like setting that respects residents' dignity.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial work is a plus (not required).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Collect, launder, and return linens and residents' laundry.
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures.
• Refill soap, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Work cooperatively with nursing and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, hallways, and common areas
• Collect, launder, and return linens and residents' personal laundry in a timely and organized manner
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures
• Refill soap, paper towels, and other supplies as needed
• Work cooperatively with nursing and other departments
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
• Handle equipment and cleaning supplies properly and safely
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping or Laundry Supervisor
