Job summary

Hotel LeVeque, Autograph Collection is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the team, ensure cleanliness, and uphold brand standards. You will oversee daily operations, inspect rooms and public spaces, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role emphasizes safety, training, and collaboration with management to maintain high service levels and department stability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a hotel housekeeper or house person preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Capacity to lift up to 60 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support to Housekeepers and Housemen, ensuring the Housekeeping Department is run in a smooth, efficient manner.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department to maintain service and cleanliness standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness, brand standards, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in developing and implementing innovative promotions and events to improve service.
• Promote a clean and safe working environment with emphasis on health and safety.
• Assist in training colleagues in proper safety techniques.
• Responsible for department orientation and training of new housekeepers and follow-up on standards.
• Lead with effective techniques to motivate team toward guest satisfaction.
• Assist in resolving issues to promote department stability.
• Clean guest rooms when necessary
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

• Engage in effective leadership techniques to motivate and encourage team members toward the common goal of guest satisfaction.
• Assist in resolving issues as they arise to promote department stability.
• Clean guest rooms when necessary
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Requirements...

• Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
• Able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and pivot frequently
• Able to lift, lower, and maneuver up to 60 pounds; able to push/pull up to 150 pounds
• Experiences as a hotel housekeeper or house person preferred
