Job summary

The Y in Onalaska, Wisconsin is seeking an energetic Environmental Services team member to keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for every member. You’ll help create a positive visit experience and enjoy interacting with people throughout the day.

Weekend shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00pm to 7:00pm with responsibilities including cleaning, towel handling, event setup, and ensuring spaces are organized and ready for programs and activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, etc.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours at a time.
• Ability to move tables, chairs, etc., and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility
• Collect, wash, and dry member towels used for cleaning fitness equipment
• Assist with set up and take down for programs and special events
• Support members and staff by ensuring spaces are organized, stocked, and ready for use
