Job summary

The YMCA in Onalaska, WI is seeking an energetic Environmental Services team member to keep the facility clean, safe and welcoming for every visit. This role includes weekend shifts and handling towels for fitness spaces, plus assisting with events and program setups.

You will support members and staff by keeping spaces organized and stocked, contributing to a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, etc.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
• Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours at a time
• Ability to move tables, chairs, etc., and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility
• Collect, wash, and dry member towels used for cleaning fitness equipment
• Assist with set up and take down for programs and special events
