Job summary

PSL is seeking a Housekeeping/Maintenance team member in Overland Park, KS. The role involves cleaning interiors, maintaining common areas, and preparing apartments for move-in. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle lifting and extended standing.

The ideal candidate has hospitality experience and is comfortable performing grounds work and preventive maintenance tasks. This FT/PT role offers benefits and opportunities within a nationwide mentorship framework.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living preferred.
• Ability to climb, bend, lift, stand for extended periods, and move furniture as needed.
• Maintain interiors and common areas, perform cleaning tasks, and upkeep floors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas, including carpet and furniture cleaning.
• Perform window cleaning, trash removal, and upkeep of vinyl floors as assigned.
• Maintain grounds with lawn upkeep and garbage removal as assigned.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and refurbishing after move-out as assigned.
• Implement and document preventative maintenance programs for community and equipment.

Highlights of the Housekeeping/Maintenance Position:

• A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living (preferred)
• Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach and carry, stand for extended periods of time and may be required to move furniture.
• Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas, including carpet and furniture cleaning, window cleaning, removal of trash, and upkeep of vinyl floors as assigned
• Maintain the grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance, and garbage removal as assigned
• Prepare apartments for move-in and complete refurbishing of units after move-out as assigned
• Implement and document preventative maintenance programs for community and equipment as assigned
