Job summary

Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, public areas and back of house meet four‑diamond standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting cleanliness, assigning tasks, assisting in cleaning when needed, and maintaining stocked linen and supplies. Candidates should have prior hotel housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends and holidays to support a fast-paced resort environment.

• Basic English skills are required to answer guest questions and provide directions.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas.
• Assigns special assignments as directed by Housekeeping Leaders.
• Assists in cleaning guest rooms when necessary.
• Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports.
• Report any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
• Ensure that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.
• Maintain supply cages and linen carts in order.
• Ensure VIP rooms are inspected promptly.
• Maintain safety and security of guests and associates.

Overview

The role of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to ensure that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, public areas, back of house and landings meet Omni four star/four diamond standards.

Responsabilities

• Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas.
• Assigns special assignments as directed by the Housekeeping Leaders.
• Assists in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
• Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports.
• Report any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
• Ensure that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.
• Ensure that the Guest Room Attendant’s linen cart is neat and well organized.
• Ensure that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
• Maintain supply cage stock, neat and clean at all times.
• Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone after completion.
• Ensure VIP rooms are inspected ASAP.
• Ensure check out/vacated rooms are a priority.
• Knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.
• Ensures hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.

Physical Job Requirements (for Essential Functions Only)

• Strong visual attention to detail.
• Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping and/or other relevant hotel experience required.
• Able to maintain 4-Diamond level cleanliness standards.
• Able to work with management on special projects.
• Able to set priorities for your section and provide feedback to others that enhances performance.
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency.
• Ability to work and perform effectively in a fast-paced role.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
• Previous experience in housekeeping is strongly preferred
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic English skills are required (must be able to answer basic questions about services and amenities, give directions to guests, etc.).
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays.
