Job summary

Recover-Care in Topeka, Kansas is seeking a dependable housekeeping/maintenance aide to perform day-to-day duties in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. Daily tasks include cleaning offices, restrooms, kitchens, lounges and corridors, following the cleaning schedule, and assisting with laundry as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year of work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties in various areas to maintain the center in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition.
• Follows cleaning schedule and cleans offices, restrooms, kitchens, and other spaces as outlined for housekeeping; performs emergency housekeeping.
• Cooperates with other facility personnel to meet residents' needs and maintains a warm, personal, and calm environment.
• Adheres to established employee policies and dress code.
